Once the scheme commences, to apply for Full Registration or the Qualifications Experience Pathway, you must meet specific qualification requirements.
If you studied in Australia and are seeking to apply for full registration, your qualification must be accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
For those with other qualifications, information can be found below.

The SWRB SA prescribed qualifications are those accredited (current and historic) by the Association of Australian Social Workers AASW (external site)
If you studied outside of Australia, your degree must be positively assessed by AASW as equivalent to an accredited Australian social work degree.
The SWRB SA will accept overseas qualification which have been positively assessed by the AASW.
Once the scheme commences, you will also need to complete the Migration Eligibility Assessment (external site) with the AASW.
If you are currently registered with the SWRB NZ(external site) you will be able to register with the SWRB SA under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act.
