The SWRB SA welcomes questions and consultation.
The Guide to Social Worker Registration contains all the information you need to help you navigate your registration.
Both houses of Parliament have voted to amend the start date of the Social Workers Registration Scheme, paving the way for extra time to bring the scheme to life.
The decision to amend the start date provides the opportunity for further discussions with the sector about the regulatory model through detailed and tailored meetings with stakeholders.
Once the scheme opens, anyone who needs to register will have considerable time to do so, and to learn about how the scheme may affect them.
The Social Workers Registration Board and its Office will continue to update the sector as more information becomes available.
The website and the Guide to Registration has all the details you will need regarding registration options. The SWRB SA will be conducting events and online sessions to inform the sector of the regulatory framework in the near future.

However, if you are already employed to undertake social work services then you will be required to apply for provisional registration via the Qualification Experience Pathway. Please read the guide to social worker registration for details.
